They say, she carries singing medicine and is one who inspires the next generation. She is provocative, humorous, soulful and always enchanting. The richness of her singing voice and her deeply infectious laughter inevitably embraces everyone in the room and we are engaged in the deeper meaning of what it means to be human in today’s world. Karen Rae's songs and characters evoke both the challenges we are facing and the solutions needed in a dynamic and heartfelt way that inspires both hope and new direction.
Karen Rae composed and produced an original half hour presentation for the State of The World Forum in San Francisco on preserving the Earth and Honoring the Feminine. As well as sat with the Bushman of the Kalahari, sung a concert on Safari in the Kenyan wilderness and performed excerpts of her one-women show “Many Women, One Voice” to sold out audiences along the west coast of Canada and the US.
“Karen Rae Wilson is good at this. She’s an activist, writer and performance artist so you could say she’s an old pro at catching emotion.”
